Job Description:
RN, Behavioral Health
Shift: PRN Days, 7a-7p; Some weekends and/or holidays may be required
Where You'll Be:
Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients. Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.
What You'll Do:
Develop plan of care, and update plan appropriately every shift
Evaluate patient response to interventions
Communicate the patient’s status to peers, supervisors, and patient’s physician as appropriate Promote teamwork and accountability
Performs job in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Why You're a Great Fit:
You have had previous experience in behavioral health (not required)
Your Kentucky RN license is active
You have a BSN (not required)
You have or will obtain BLS certification
