A dedicated School Psychologist is sought for a full-time position in Munster, IN, focusing on providing essential support across five K-12 schools. This role runs until the end of the school year, offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity to serve students and staff in a variety of educational settings.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in Indiana
- Expertise in identifying students with educational disabilities and determining their need for Special Education services
- Experience working as part of Multidisciplinary Teams, including Intervention Teams and Crisis Teams
- Strong skills in developing behavior and academic intervention plans
- Ability to provide school-based counseling to students in crisis and serve as a resource for the school community

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess and support students psychological and educational needs
- Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations for students requiring Special Education services
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation services to teachers and staff regarding psychological strategies and interventions
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans as needed
