School Psychologist - Pendleton, OR

Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Pendleton, OR. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by fostering their academic, emotional, and social development.

Position Details:
  • Role: School Psychologist
  • Location: Pendleton, OR
  • Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
  • Duration: Full school year with potential for renewal
  • Grade Levels: PreK-12 (specific assignments based on district needs)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to contribute to individualized student goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Offer professional development and training to staff on mental health and behavioral strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Oregon School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes, state and federal regulations, and ethical practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
