School Psychologist - Pendleton, OR
Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Pendleton, OR. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by fostering their academic, emotional, and social development.
Position Details:- Role: School Psychologist
- Location: Pendleton, OR
- Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
- Duration: Full school year with potential for renewal
- Grade Levels: PreK-12 (specific assignments based on district needs)
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to contribute to individualized student goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Offer professional development and training to staff on mental health and behavioral strategies.
Qualifications:- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, state and federal regulations, and ethical practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
