School Psychologist - Poestenkill, NY

Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP - End Date: June 26th, 2025
Location: On-site, 1 school site only
Caseload: Middle and High School Students

Job Description:

• The selected School Psychologist will provide support and services to students in grades 6-12.
• Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing counseling services, participating in IEP meetings, and working closely with faculty to support student mental health.
• The psychologist will be involved in the testing and evaluation of students, including conducting psycho-educational assessments, and providing interventions and support.
• This role will involve a significant amount of direct service to students and collaboration with other professionals to ensure appropriate educational support.

Requirements:

• Must hold valid New York State Certification as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience at the secondary level is preferred but not required.
• Experience with chairing CSE meetings is a plus.
