Job Type: Full-Time, School Year Position
Hourly Rate:$45/hr - $65/hr based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of our students. This position provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on student success in a dynamic and diverse educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Excellent munication and organizational skills.
  • Strong mitment to promoting equity and inclusion within the school munity.
Responsibilities:
  • Student Assessments: Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral needs. Analyze assessment data and provide remendations for intervention strategies.
  • Counseling & Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Develop and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement strategies for supporting students academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide support and guidance in crisis situations and assist in developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Special Education Services: Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Professional Development: Stay current on best practices, trends, and research in school psychology and mental health, and provide training and resources to staff as needed.
