Contract Position for the 2024-2025 School Year
Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team for the uping school year. This role is onsite and ideally suited for a full-time candidate; however, part-time candidates will also be considered. If you are passionate about supporting students' mental health and academic success, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Advocate for students mental health needs within the school environment.
- Provide training and support to school staff on mental health awareness and intervention strategies.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid licensure through the Georgia Professional Standards mission (GAPSC).
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
