Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to work onsite. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week contract position for the 2024-2025 school year, ending 5/23/2025. The candidate will be working with students in an Affective Needs Center-Based Program at the elementary level, sharing a caseload of 29 students.

This is an established program with a team that includes 2 Teachers and a Social Worker. The role offers the opportunity to make a real impact while collaborating with a supportive and experienced team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and consultations for students with emotional and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, social workers, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer individual and group counseling for students, focusing on emotional regulation, behavior management, and social skills
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents and school staff
  • Serve as a resource for teachers regarding student mental health and behavioral concerns
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support for students in need of immediate assistance
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on mental health and learning needs
  • Maintain confidential student records and documentation in accordance with school policies

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license in the state of Colorado
  • Previous experience working in an elementary school setting, particularly with students in a center-based or affective needs program, is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools
  • Excellent munication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
