Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking an experienced, licensed School Psychologist to joinfor the 2024-2025 school year. The position is onsite and requires the candidate to conduct evaluations and assessments for both elementary and high school students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs.
- Provide consultation services to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student mental health and educational needs.
- Interpret evaluation results and provide recommendations to help guide educational planning.
- Participate in student support teams and assist in developing intervention plans.
- Collaborate with other school professionals to promote a healthy, supportive school environment.
- Offer counseling services when necessary and assist with crisis intervention.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a School Psychologist in Georgia (GAPSC).
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents in a collaborative manner.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments and interpretation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
