Location: Pearson, GA

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive educational team for the 2024-2025 school year in Pearson, GA. This is a Full-Time position with the potential for Part-Time candidates to be considered. You will be working onsite with students in grades K-12. This role involves conducting evaluations and assessments, with the possibility of providing some counseling services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students in K-12 to assess educational, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Complete assessments and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for support.
  • Provide counseling services as needed to students for emotional or behavioral support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies, confidentiality standards, and regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for the school community on mental health and psychological matters.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Georgia (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience in performing psychological evaluations, assessments, and providing counseling in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must pass background checks as required by the school district.
