Qualifications:
- Valid NY State Psychologist License
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary settings
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and re-evaluations
- Ability to collaborate effectively in IEP and RTI meetings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with educational policies and procedures
Location:Spring Valley, NY area
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Conduct intake meetings and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Participate in response to intervention (RTI) meetings and strategies
- Address learning and behavioral challenges through tailored interventions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation
