ProCare Therapy is working with a district in the Summit Argo, Illinoisarea who is in need for a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team! In this role, you will be working closely with students, staff, and parents to support academic, social, and emotional well-being. You will also develop interventions, assess needs, and create a supportive learning environment for students. Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students in need
  • Conduct psychological assessments/testing to evaluate students cognitive, social, academic, and behavioral needs
  • Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)for students to further help them achieve academic and social success
  • Support crises intervention and behavioral management strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure fulfillment of federal, state, and local regulations
Job Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Current ILlicensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and evaluation skills
  • Must pass background checks and meet state/local certification requirements
