ProCare Therapy is looking for a school psychologistto join their growing team near Naperville, IL

Contract Duration:24/25 school year
Hours: Full-Time
Caseload:Caseload to be discussed further in initial interview - dependent upon school site
Pay: $40 - $60 based upon experience

Qualifications:

  • School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois
  • Masters/Doctoratesin School Psychology
  • Experience in conducting assessments for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, social emotional disabilities, and other related disabilities.
  • Demonstrates effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving ability with program and district administration, classroom personnel and families.

Role Overview:

The School Psychologist delivers essential psychological services to students within a school environment. This role is crucial in advancing mental health, supporting academic success, and encouraging positive behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and/or family interventions for both special education and general education students.
  • Offer crisis intervention services for students at risk, including immediate intervention, evaluation, and referrals to community agencies.
  • Administer behavioral rating scales, personality assessments, and projective techniques for diagnostic purposes.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and assess behavioral and academic intervention strategies for students.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings.
  • Offer case management support, including coordinating home-school relations, inter-agency collaboration, community resource referrals, and family assistance when required.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
  • Experience delivering psychological services within an educational setting.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital tools for remote service provision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with students, families, and school personnel.

  • Combination of on-site presence at the school and remote work flexibility.
  • Adaptable scheduling to meet both in-person and virtual service requirements.
