Position: School Psychologist
Location: New Haven, CT
Position Details:- Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
- Hours: 32-37 hours per week
- School Year: 2024/2025
We are looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Connecticut. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to support student development and well-being. You will provide psychological assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with staff to create an inclusive and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to support academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to address students' needs and improve learning outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
- Assist in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer training and support to teachers and staff on mental health and behavioral management strategies
Qualifications:- Valid Connecticut State School Psychologist Licensure
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
- Experience conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and supporting IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
