School Psychologist - Wapato, WA
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Wapato, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, consultations, and counseling, to support their educational and emotional well-being.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement interventions and strategies to support student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss student progress and plans.
- Support crisis intervention and provide guidance on coping strategies and resilience building.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- ValidState Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in School Psychology.
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to school psychology.
