Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Owings, MD, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position involves covering two schools across all grade levels. We wele both experienced professionals and new graduates!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Provide counseling and support services to students with various needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop interventions.
- Implement behavioral strategies and support for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 plans.
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified School Psychologist in Maryland (out-of-state candidates and new graduates are wele to apply).
- Strong understanding of behavioral interventions is a plus.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
- Passionate about supporting student mental health and academic success.
