We are currently seeking three dedicated and passionate School Psychologists to join our team for the 24-25 school year. The positions include two openings for elementary schools (PK-4) and one opening for a middle/junior high school (5th-8th). As a School Psychologist, you will be assigned to one or two campuses within our district.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students dealing with academic, behavioral, emotional, or social challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' success.
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding students' academic and behavioral needs, and provide remendations for acmodations and modifications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain certification/licensure).
- Strong understanding of psychological principles and practices applicable to school settings.
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and providing counseling services preferred.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Preference for candidates with 1+ years of experience, but open to considering new graduates with relevant internship experience.
