About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our K-12 school district team. This full-time position involves working with students across all grade levels, providing essential psychological services to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student success
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with various psychological and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies and interventions as necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in Missouri
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and needs
