We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team and support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students in our district. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students academic, emotional, and behavioral goals.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Offer consultation and training to staff and families on issues such as mental health, learning strategies, and behavioral management.
- Assist in crisis intervention and response planning.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to legal and ethical standards in the field of school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field (Ed.S. or equivalent).
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
- Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
