School Psychologist Opportunity Delta, CO

Soliant Education is excited to partner with a school district in Delta, CO, to find a passionate and experienced School Psychologist. This is a full-time, contract position designed for the uping school year, offering an excellent opportunity to support students and help create a positive, effective learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: Delta, CO
  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Employment Type: Full-time, contract
  • Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for students with academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
  • Provide counseling and support for students with mental health needs, including individual and group therapy.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop intervention strategies and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Offer guidance and training to staff on effective strategies for managing classroom behaviors.
  • Participate in crisis response and provide immediate support for students in need.
  • Work to improve the social-emotional climate of the school through programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Colorado School Psychologist Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessments, interventions, and school-based counseling.
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
