Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Grade Levels: Pre-Kindergarten to 8th Grade
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed School Psychologist to join our team in Worcester, MA. In this full-time, onsite role, you will play an integral part in supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of Pre-K through 8th-grade students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student strengths and areas of need.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student challenges.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings to provide expert input and recommendations.
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention to promote student well-being.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster positive learning environments.
- Ensure compliance with state requirements, including fingerprinting and CORI checks.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred.
