We are seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team and provide exceptional support to students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering student success by conducting evaluations, analyzing data, and writing comprehensive reports. Additionally, the School Psychologist will support the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), provide assistance with 504 plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to solve student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, interpret data, and write detailed reports.
- Support the MTSS process by assisting with tiered interventions and monitoring student progress.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement 504 plans for eligible students.
- Participate in problem-solving meetings to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff to support student development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Current Illinois School Psychologist license.
- Strong knowledge of MTSS, 504 plans, and psychological evaluation processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Pay Range: $40-$60 per hour, depending on years of experience.
