Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Mercer Island, WA Area
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Onsite, Itinerant
Pay Scale: $50-65/hour
Caseload(s): Grades K-5
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Mercer Island, WAarea.This is a full-time, onsite position for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualifications:
- Valid Washington School Psychologist license
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Must have OSPI approval to work in schools
- Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- mitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and remend interventions.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding effective instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student evaluations, progress, and services provided.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of school psychology through professional development opportunities
