Job Description:- Hours: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility in scheduling
As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and academic success of students in Trenton by providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to interventions as necessary.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on mental health issues and effective strategies for supporting students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices and regulations in school psychology to provide high-quality services.
Requirements:- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Current Florida state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff.
