Caseload: NECC Partner Programs (Elementary, Intermediate Grades 5-6, Middle Grades 7-8, High School)
Program Details:
These positions are within our NECC Partner Programs, which are district-wide self-contained programs housed within the district. The programs offer specialized support from the New England Center for Children with a trained lead teacher and oversight by a clinical BCBA, while also providing access to general education instruction when appropriate. Each program is capped at 7 students, with each student assigned a 1:1 RBT.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Bedford, NH, for the 2024-2025 school year. The RBT will provide 1:1 support to students in one of our NECC Partner Programs, ensuring that each student receives individualized attention to meet their behavioral and educational needs. As we begin to accept new students into the program, we need to ensure adequate staffing to maintain the quality of support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 behavior support to students within the NECC Partner Programs.
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a clinical BCBA.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff to support students academic and social-emotional development.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and program improvements.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- BACB-accredited RBT training (required).
- Previous experience as an RBT in an educational or clinical setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of behavior management and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
