ProCare Therapy is offering a contract position for a Social Worker in our school district! This will be an on-site, full-time contract position! Our school in Manhattan, KS serves a vibrant community of elementary-aged students. Our mission is to foster a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our team and contribute to our students' well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address student needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support students mental health and academic success.
- Help students with crisis interventions as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work or other related field from an accredited program, required.
- Social Work license or certificate in the state of KS.
- Experience in a clinical or school-based setting is highly desirable.
