Pay Range: State Salary Salary Schedule + [8.5% - 16% local supplement]
Position Purpose: The major functions of this job description incorporate the North Carolina State Board of Education guiding mission that every public school student will graduate from high school globally competitive for work and post-secondary education and prepared for life in the twenty-first century.
Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay) Provisional Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the School Social Worker Provisional license.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a bachelor's, master's, specialist, or doctoral degree in social work.
    Require completion of remaining School Social Worker requirements within three years.
