Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Start Date: Immediate
Work Schedule: 3640 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $40+ per hour, depending on experience

ProCare Therapy is excited to work with a school district in Winder, Georgia, to hire a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist. This full-time, on-site position offers a chance to play an essential role in supporting the emotional, academic, and behavioral well-being of students. You will work alongside teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing student needs, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators to implement effective strategies for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students emotional, behavioral, and learning needs
  • Offer individual and group counseling to help students cope with academic and personal challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop personalized interventions and strategies
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and support strategies
  • Assist in crisis management and intervention as needed
  • Offer guidance on social-emotional learning and mental health awareness
  • Develop and contribute to IEPs for students with special needs

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Certification in School Psychology (Georgia) or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in school-based psychology is preferred
  • Strong evaluation and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
