What we are looking for!

A full-time Substance Use Counselor to work with our clients that are transitioning from incarceration back into the community. This position is located at our Tarpon Springs Work Release Center. We partner with the Department of Corrections to provide services to these individuals to help them with the best opportunity of re-entering back into our communities.


The client services to be provided range from individual counseling, group counseling, family and couples counseling.


Our ideal candidate will be compassionate, motivated, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model.

Education Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2 years experience with addictions or mental health
Master's Degree and one year of experience

Bachelor's in social sciences + 6 months in substance abuse / mental health counseling.
Bachelor's in any field + 1 year of experience in substance abuse / mental health counseling.
Master's in social sciences + 6 months experience in sa/mh
Master's in any field + 1 year of experience in sa/mh
