Supervising Mental Health Specialist – Community Support Services
Mental Health Department (Classification 774)
Management Full Time (37.5 hours/week) position
Job Summary
Position requires an experienced mental health professional to provide administrative and clinical supervision to clinicians working in a Community Mental Health Program. This position will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and must be skilled in program administration. Clinical skills include assessment, risk assessment, engagement, knowledgeable in the philosophy of recovery, community consultation and evidence-based practices. Providing administrative direction, advice, and consultation on complex clinical problems. Some travel between work sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires successful completion of a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling or in a related field, five years’ experience AND Oregon professional licensure in social work (LCSW), counseling (LPC), or family therapy (LMFT) is required. Supervisory experience is a recommended. Must be able to pass a criminal history check and possess a valid Oregon drivers' license with an acceptable driving record.
