We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the supervisor of Behavior Support Services. This role is pivotal in overseeing the administration and daily operations of behavior support services within our residential and day habilitation programs. The supervisor will ensure regulatory compliance, develop and implement best practices, and work closely with staff, families, and external partners to provide exceptional care and support.

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS).
  • Ensures regulatory compliance.
  • Oversight of the behavior supports services for the residential and day habilitation programs.
  • Coordinate external support services (e.g., NYSTART, community therapy).
  • Develop policies and procedures related to behavior support services.
  • Provide clinical support to assist program supervisors in developing methodologies for habilitation plans
  • Develop training curriculum related to behavior supports and interventions.
  • Conduct training for program supervisors and direct support professional staff and services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, providing clinical guidance ideally
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an OPWDD certified setting providing behavior support
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Work Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday with flexible scheduling options

Pay: $92,000 - $95,000

  • Paid Time Off:
