We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team on a temporary basis. This role will support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through assessment, consultation, and collaboration with educators and families. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced educational setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and write comprehensive reports
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on eligibility and educational planning
Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
Support crisis intervention and behavioral planning
Maintain documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Experience working with diverse student populations
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
