Experience: Minimum 2 years of Psych experience required
License: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISCW)
Certifications: De-escalation training (CPI or NAPPI/Welle certifications required)
Must-Have:
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
- Supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment
- COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) required or intent to fill out exemption form
- Interview availability with specific dates and times listed
- Non-local residency (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
Job Description:
- Conduct facility crisis evaluations in the emergency department
- Work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Participate in non-billable orientation for 8 hours
- Ensure profiles include work history, pertinent skills checklist, supervisory signed reference, and license/certifications
- Process and wear a mask on-site if an exemption from COVID vaccination is approved
- Handle patient interactions professionally, with a focus on de-escalation and crisis management
