About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** RN Psych
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** DAYS - 12HR: 7A-7P - WEEKENDS ONLY (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** 12 months of prior experience required
**License:** LPN or RN
**Certifications:** BLS, CPI
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in CIWA/COWS assessments
- Ability to perform urine analyses (UAs)
- Ability to set and maintain firm empathic boundaries

**Job Description:**
- Work in an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for individuals aged 18 and over
- Manage a 50-bed facility with separate male and female units (20 female/30 male)
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of one nurse during the night shift
- Collaborate with Behavioral Health Assistants (BHAs) during varying shifts
- Utilize HCS electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Adhere to dress code of scrubs
- Engage with voluntary patients in a restraint-free environment
- Access to administration and doctor support on call at all times
- Participate in a 2-3 day orientation with 12-hour shifts until comfortable with responsibilities
- Engage with patient's visitors during designated hours on Sundays

This position involves working weekends and every other holiday as assigned. Preferred candidates will have some experience in psychiatric care.
