TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Brattleboro, Vermont, 05302!

About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Behavioral Health - Inpatient Float
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 5 years as an RN required, must include recent experience within the last 3 months
**License:** Must be willing and eligible to obtain
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in psych/behavioral health and pediatrics/child/adolescent psychiatry
- Willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts
- Resume with specific psych experience and age groups listed
- Psych skills checklist dated within the last year
- Two supervisory references from the last two years

**Job Description:**
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provide clinical supervision of mental health workers to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Participate in a co-occurring disorders inpatient treatment program that offers 24-hour care in a nurturing environment.
- Focus on helping patients develop and maintain sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders.
- Provide high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and education to ensure a strong and successful recovery.
- Must be able to float to other units as required, and possibly respond to on-call needs.
- Expected to work every other weekend.

Please ensure all patient population experiences are clearly outlined. Scheduling requests must be presented in advance, with restricted time off not exceeding 7 days and unavailable during peak holiday periods. CPI training is available on-site. Ensure driver's license or address is included in the submission packet to verify commute eligibility.
