TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Brattleboro, Vermont, 05302!

About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Behavioral Health

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** 5 years of RN experience required (recent experience within the last 3 months)

**License:** Must be willing and eligible to obtain

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association

**Must-Have:**
- Experience and comfort working in an LGBTQ+ unit
- Previous psych/behavioral health experience across pediatric, child, and adolescent age groups
- Willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts
- Experience with LGBTQ+ psychiatric care

**Job Description:**
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions
- Utilize the nursing process to address the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care
- Provide clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care
- Work within the Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program, offering 24-hour care designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery
- Focus on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders
- Specialize in high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and education for strong and successful recovery
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Participation in CPI training offered onsite

**Additional Requirements:**
- A resume with detailed psych experience and age groups
- Psych skills checklist completed within the last year
- Two supervisory references from the last two years of employment
- Inclusion of driver's license or candidate's address in application to confirm distance eligibility
