About The Position
Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Night Shift)



Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their Behavioral Health team. This is a 13•week contract position with a 40•hour work week, primarily during the evening shift (3pm•11pm). Flexibility in working days and willingness to rotate weekends is a must.



Key Responsibilities:



• Provide care for adult psychiatric patients, including forensic patients.



• Utilize clinical problem•solving skills and management techniques.



• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.



Qualifications:



• Active RN License in VA or compact state.



• AHA BLS Certification.



• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.



• Prior experience in psychiatric care is preferred.



• Travel experience is not required.



Additional Information:



• COVID•19 vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted.



• PPE will be provided.



• Free parking is available.



• EMR system used: Cerner.



• Case types: General Psych (Adults).
