About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Psychiatric Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Nights - 12 Hours: 7 PM - 7 AM, with weekends and holidays as assigned

**Guaranteed Hours:**

**Experience:** 3 years of current psychiatric hospital experience required

**License:** Registered Nurse License

**Certifications:** CPI Preferred; if not certified, training will be provided onsite

**Must-Have:** Solid experience in psychiatric nursing, CPI certification or willingness to obtain

**Job Description:**

- Participate in virtual interviews via Teams with camera on.
- Work in a standalone psychiatric facility featuring 72 beds with 3-4 units open at any time.
- Care for a combination of adult and adolescent patients, with a requirement to float as needed.
- Handle code responses, de-escalations, and restraints as necessary, without security personnel on site.
- Benefit from a 2-day classroom and 2-floor day orientation if CPI certified. If not, orientation includes an additional 2 classroom days.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:20, with occasional support from an LPN or MT.
- Wear navy scrubs while on duty.
- Possess the ability to work effectively under challenging conditions, managing patient care independently or collaboratively with other staff.

- COVID and Flu medical or religious exemptions are allowed.
