About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Adult Psych

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night; 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12 Hr

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience

**License:** RN License in good standing

**Certifications:** BLS (American Heart Association)

**Must-Have:** - Experience in patient care and documentation

**Job Description:**

- Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care via the nursing process, integrating nursing trends, technology, and resources.
- Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit specific to the scope of service.
- Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.
- Complete initial assessment upon patient admission and develop an appropriate plan of care based on patient and family needs.
- Implement plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.
- Modify the plan of care based on continuous evaluation.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with others to resolve issues.
- Provide constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers and confer with colleagues to expand knowledge.
- Identify own learning needs and take initiative to begin appropriate solutions.
- Fulfill all requirements of departmental competencies.
