About The Position
**Job Title:** Pediatric Inpatient Psychiatry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

**Job Specialty:** Pediatric Psychiatry

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, including every other weekend, 36 hours per week

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Massachusetts RN License

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Trauma-informed care skills
- Patient-centered care capabilities
- Ability to verbally de-escalate patients

**Job Description:**
- Work in an inpatient program providing 24-hour care for children ages 3 to 17.
- Ensure a nurturing and non-coercive environment for young patients.
- Maintain clinician to patient ratio of 1:3.
- Manage a patient population of children aged 3-17 with a unit bed count of 30 and a census of 20-25.
- Use EPIC, an electronic medical record charting system.
- Floating required to other behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU.
- Rotating shifts required up to 20% for Day positions but not for Night positions.
