About The Position
Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse • Day Shift



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our client's team in the Behavioral Health department. This is a night shift position, with a 17•week contract. The role offers a 40 or 48 hour work week, with the option to extend the contract.



Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high•quality patient care within the scope of the nursing practice

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations



Requirements:

• Active RN License, VA or compact

• Minimum of 2 years of Behavioral Health/Psych experience

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience

• Pediatric Psych experience is preferred

• Must have adolescent experience

• AHA BLS Certification

• COVID Vaccine (exemptions accepted)



Our client's location caters to different age groups, including children, pre•adolescents (up to 14 years), and adolescents (13•17 years). The case types include depression, bipolar, mood disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, suicidal patients, and autism spectrum disorder.
