Position Type: Full -Time and Part-time Available
Salary: $66,500 -70,000
Shift: 1st, 2nd and Weekends (Part-Time)
Family Outreach Center is looking to hire a Master Level Social Worker for multiple positions to provide Mental Health Treatment services within the Kent County Correctional Facility. Candidates must hold a current Master of Social Work, licensed through the State of Michigan, as a fully licensed or limited licensed Master of Social Work. Multiple Shifts available!
Responsibilities would include:
- assessment of inmates with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
- short term crisis management, suicide prevention education
- evidence-based programming with groups of men and women with mental illness.
Previous experience preferred, having worked with clients with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. Ideal candidate for this position would be someone detail oriented, comfortable with using clinical judgement independently, familiar with behavioral health interventions, and interested in a fast paced and multifaceted location.
