Virtual School Psychologist - California School District
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Virtual School Psychologist to provide support to K-12 students across California in a fully virtual capacity. In this role, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and school administrators to assess students psychological needs, develop intervention plans, and deliver counseling services via telehealth platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborate with school teams to create individualized support plans
- Consult with parents and teachers on student behavior, mental health, and academic challenges
- Assist in crisis intervention and develop prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in a virtual environment
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment, counseling techniques, and special education processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
